Pros

Franchises depend on the owner and manager, they can be incredible places to work with fast paced environments!

Cons

Corporate stores are awful. Stylist and manager turnover is insanely high. Receptionists are expected to basically be managers for just above minimum wage. Stores are always running behind, and customers are (understandably) upset. Corporate obviously doesn’t care one bit about employees; their policy is to overbook so they can make more money. As a result, stylists get no breaks and are rundown.

Pros

Not any I can think of.

Cons

They promote based off a popularity contest instead of who is qualified for the position. The work/life balance is non-existent. The culture is dog eat dog and not at all what is portrayed with their "10 Core Values".
