Pros

Great for new stylists that want to get extremely good at styling hair.

Cons

Most clients tip $5-10 if at all. Will schedule you back to back clients with no breaks unless you make a fuss about using the bathroom or taking a break. Routinely understaffed, no manager or receptionist most days. Removed the ability to get commission and bonuses, no ability to get a raise in hourly pay. Blackout days for time off that are just the entire calendar aside from a few weeks in June/July.

Pros

Early direct deposit if your account allows

Cons

Where do I start… you are treated like a machine when the salon is booked and a housekeeper when it is slow, should you get the privilege to be scheduled at all. If business is slow you get called off and hours cut.
