Pros

Lots of time off, meals catered in on many occasions, great work environment, good people to work around and are allowed to work at your own pace.

Cons

You have to do a lot of projects and other things that take a lot of time and effort that don't apply to your job and slow you down.

Pros

Good training program, OK benefits (since DuPont took over, benefits declined drastically). If you hang out and go drinking with the bosses, you don't have to work as hard and you get great raises.

Cons

If you DON'T hang out and go drinking with the bosses, you will get jobs no one wants and get no raise at all. Rotating/swing shift, changes from days to nights every two weeks. Management doesn't know how to fill in or do any task in any area of the plant. Managers will back each other-even when it means lying to your face. If you don't want to be in management, you have no opportunity to advance.
