Pros
Pay is good for the area from what I've seen. If you're a good performer, in most cases, you can advance (very variable from business to business/function or even groups within the businesses but if you network you can make things happen). I love the people I work with and am happy with my current business. Can be flexible, depending on roles.
Cons
More like a holding company. Corporate controls the businesses to an unhealthy extent and is beholden solely to the shareholders. Can be overworked & patted on the back(sometimes verbally, sometimes monetarily) without fixes being implemented due to cost constraints despite good business performance. DE&I is performative. In many of the businesses, poor performers are shuffled rather than dealt with, which is problematic for the good performers & the businesses. Continually squeezing policies and benefits.
