      DuPont is a good Company, just implement the use of the young minds you have before another company realizes it.

      Pros

      I believe the best reason is the career opportunity. Most Exec's and VP's started out in the chemical plants and worked their way up to the top. They didn't need a gazillon degree's to prove their worthiness. Just good ole' experience mixed with education, the way it should be

      Cons

      Right now the only downside is working with people that have become content with their duties instead of wanting to continue to excel and have higher career goals. I started out feeling like I was around a group of people that were "go getters".. But that faded very fast, its only 3 other ppl I know who are pursuing higher education including myself

      Not overly stressful since low expectations for performance; great benefits such as 401K program; good communication from senior executives to all employees

      Cons

      Highly political; no or minimal emphasis on quality of performance; old workforce that is generally overt to change and efficiency; backstabbing "behind closed doors" culture that is viewed as acceptable; disrespectful work environment
