- never required to work longer than you have to - good benefits - nice central location for wherever you live in Hampton Roads

Cons

- lack of communication with management and employees - lack of customer focus and customer service over the last few years - takes a lot of internal work overcoming obstacles and roadblocks to complete your work

Pros

IB has a positive outlook. Revenues are strong. People are great. Almost all of them were hired when it was Danisco or Genencor. The strong employee culture from those companies lives on in those employees.

Cons

Top management took away the purpose of the company for the employees when they decided to merge with Dow and then separate into three companies. May be better for share holders but employee morale is at an all time low. A lot of lay offs at the beginning of the year are still having effects. People are leaving because of the restructuring and uncertainty around the future company.
