Pros
DuPont has a fine history and great employees. It has been through change before and has come out more successful with a steady long-term focus on the important factors that make a successful business -- good products, dedicated employees, focus on its core values.
Cons
The changes DuPont is going through at this moment in its history are unprecedented, and it is being led by short-time DuPonters who do not seem to appreciate the value of having employees and management all aligned on its core values. Management is apparently share-holder driven at the expense of employee morale and long-term focus.
