Pros

MADLAB is doing some really advanced ML/AI work, the team is very talented, I went from feeling like a big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a big sea. It's an adjustment, but I'm so happy to be able to work with people I can learn and grow with. Everyone is friendly. The pay is good.

Cons

Most data scientists have to first be hired through an outsourced HR vendor and then can only be converted after 6 months before getting a better set of benefits by working directly for Duke.
