Communication and pay less than stellar, but you'll learn a lot

Pros

Training was GREAT, especially compared with other training I've received in this field. There are many kind, caring, motivated people on staff.

Cons

Poor communication from management, high turnover due partly to high injury rate. Staff at my site didn't get enough hours to stay. Some longtime managers were incredibly rude to staff, and rudeness between staff was tolerated.

Pros

Dungarvin truly emphasizes the quality of services aspect of the job. The company really cares about those in care. My management team was approachable and dedicated. The people we served was truly the best part of my job and the team approach.

Cons

Expensive benefits and a silly compensation policy structure that does not reward stellar employees but only gives raises based on time employed.

There are none besides the paycheck.

Cons

Staff are not treated like human beings. Program directors use and abuse staff, twist the rules to their advantage and to staff's disadvantage. Worst possible place to work. You will be treated like garbage, disrespected, have your hours randomly change at the whim of your new supervisor which, if you stay for any length of time, expect to have many different ones as management changeover is constant. With each new manager comes a new set of hours, rules and expectations, only to have them quit a few weeks or months later.
