Pros

The individuals we support who live in these homes are amazing,

Cons

Dungarvin is a full profit company who understaffs, and underpays, constantly mandating workers to stay on the floor hours past their shifts, an illegal amount of hours frequently because higher ups just dont want to come in to support on the floor. Bottom line, if this company got looked in to heavily, it would be ridden with abuse and neglect all the way up the board to higher ups.

Dungarvin Response

At Dungarvin we do practice and adhere to federal guidelines in regards to pay and hours. Unfortunately, with the COVID 19 crisis we have asked that staff step up and rise to the occasion as an essential employer as not everyone can continue to work. Overtime wages are 1.5 times the employee's regular hourly rate and is optional. BOTH items you mention allegation we take very seriously and request you to call your HR dept or State Director so we can start any potential investigation immediately; especially those involving abuse or neglect. If you have information or concerns about any unethical practices, please contact our Human Resources department.

Pros

little supervision, PTO, three different shifts, good training, 8 to 12 shifts.

Cons

You are subject to have your shift changed at any moment. you are left short Staffed with causes problems because you can literally get beat up on your shift. Staff does whatever they want with little regard for the rules. Favs get picked and it become more like a war zone then a work place. There no space for advancement.
