Pros

Dynamic Computing is a great company filled with knowledgeable and very close knit workers. The atmosphere is "work hard, play hard", the company has monthly paid outings, they celebrate birthdays as well as workiversaries on the company dime. DC truly has the best work culture out of any of my previous employments. Management here wants everyone to be rewarded for learning more and progressing as an employee -- they pay for study materials and will reimburse you for all technical tests once you've successfully passed. There currently is marginal room for advancement, but the way the company has been growing lately I'm positive there will be plenty of opportunities in the near future. The benefits are all paid by the employer -- you get health and vision which start immediately after getting hired. Company matched investments and HSA start 6 months after your hire date.

Cons

There is so much information that must be learned since Dynamic Computing supports so many different clients. It makes getting up to speed a little stressful, but you always have your teammate and an escalation person who is more than happy to help you. Another con is that you only have PTO -- yes, sick leave and vacation is rolled into one.

Pros

Small, family-like feel to the work place - Beautiful office - Smart, encouraging, and open-to-feedback management - Good clients - Never boring - Great benefits - Lots of fun to go with your hard work - Ability to move up and grow in your position and the company

Cons

Things can get a little crazy when someone is gone or if things are busier than usual, since we are small enough that there is not much to fall back on (The company has its ebbs and flows, so this is not an all-the-time thing) - If you are looking to work from home often, this is not the place for you

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I've got to agree wholeheartedly - we've got an amazing office and environment and are excited to see things continue to grow and improve every day. While that approach creates some challenging and crazy days, I hope that you'll agree it's all worth it once we achieve our goals and get a chance to take a breather.

Pros

-Open door policy doesn't feel like a facade. All of my complaints are welcomed and the policies I don't like are discussed like adults. I feel like my opinions and views are respected because of this. - Intelligent managers who are actually technically savvy and are not insane - managers don't make me hate the job - clients are fairly sane. - management asks us to forward angry clients to them so front line isn't stuck getting yelled at for hours. - monthly outings paid for by company. Last month we had a box at the Mariners game! - plenty of $ is spent on internal infrastructure so techs have a place to play nondestructively. - new equipment or procedure approval is typically speedy with little hassle if there is a valid reason for acquisition. - company provided Orca cards for getting to work, however building parking is $250/mo - two new company cars provided for going to client onsite appointments - market salary, with automatic yearly raise based on inflation rate. - management recognises that we all have lives outside of work. Their response to at home emergency is "What are you still doing here? Go!" -learning is highly encouraged. You won't get through a quarterly check in without hearing "So about that certification...", and they reimburse 100%.

Cons

- remote work policy sucks - management sometimes feels disconnected from front line, but only sometimes. - HSA isn't great, IRA only 3% match - small company, not much vertical mobility, max salary for company is $20k above me.

Thanks for your review! We take pride in being a small company of real people who are looking to improve every day. We also appreciate the feedback on our remote work policy - we've done our best to make it employee friendly yet efficient for our people and clients. We hope you'll take another look at our salary ranges and benefits, as both are published, get very positive reviews internally, and there's lots of opportunity for growth.
