      Exciting Job, meaningful work, smart co-workers

      Research is super siloed from the rest of the company, research is also super hierarchical (due to the higher-up people who have been there a while), its tough culture for someone who didn't grow up wealthy and go to an ivy league, it seems like they are more likely to promote men to the AD level based on 'promise & potential' but women often have to prove their ability to do the job ahead of them by actually doing it successfully before being promoted, and its looking like although research doesn't need to be in the office everyday 9-5 - the leadership in research is pretty stuck in their ways and may not join the rest of the world in moving into the new age of flex-work.
