A waste of time.

Pros

There's a soda machine in the building, coworkers are generally decent, PTO policy is fine.

Cons

I kick myself every day for wasting time of my early career here. Like most staff, I was promised career trajectory, growth, equal promotion and pay, and a good culture. Couldn't be further from the truth. This company is only going further and further downhill, and people have been quitting left and right. -Friends of mine have been threatened and intimidated into taking roles that they did not want or were not equipped to handle, only to later be told they were performing poorly and ultimately fired. -The last manager I had was a pathological liar who would bend over backwards for senior management, but constantly deceived their own staff. This ruined a year of my career. -Everyone here acts like the end of the world is near at all times and everything is the most urgent thing. I believe at its core, this company has good intentions - but we're not solving world hunger or moving mountains. Relax. -The egos at this company are unmatched. Everyone at the ripe age of 30 believes they rule the world and everyone needs to earn their respect. Our "consultants" aren't consultants at all - they're 22-25 year olds who can learn how to talk smart about a product. -The pay is laughable. Our entry-level staff qualify for income restricted housing, as junior salaries fall below the poverty line in DC! They say they "take care" of employees - but that's a bold-faced lie. If you don't have someone else paying your rent, don't bother trying to make it work here. -Saying the sales process is predatory is an understatement. Sales staff are held to unreasonable goals. Colleges receive up to 50 cold calls a day from junior staff trying to force them into sales meetings, vaguely disguised as a "conversation." There is absolutely no credibility left in this process or this organization.

Great Company; Too Much Management

Pros

Great culture - feels like a startup Decent Pay Clear path-to-promotion

Cons

too much management; several "managers" in mid-level org roles. Decisions go through a "RAPID" process, which is terribly inefficient and rarely gets it right on the first try.

Pros

Really flexible, our team supports remote employees and offers small benefits for education. I've felt very supported and given a lot of opportunity in my time at the company.

Cons

It's a best practices company that is transitioning into a tech company, so there are a lot of headaches with learning how to become a tech organization.
