Pros

EAB is filled with unbelievable people--smart, mission-driven, engaged, diverse and fun. I feel fortunate each day to get to collaborate with and learn from them. Better yet, I get to do so while helping schools, colleges, and universities provide better education and more opportunity for students.

Cons

It can be a fast-paced environment and change does not always happen smoothly, but managers and executives are working hard to improve communication. They recently did a culture design session that was great.

Pros

Outstanding mission focused workplace. Dedicated, humble and talented colleagues. Meritocracy - great work leads to opportunity. Plain and simple. There is not a rigid hierarchy that creates huge egos and suppresses growth. Pace of work is fast but that has created growth for hundreds of employees over the years. New job titles and promotions are constantly being created as the company grows. This is a growth company and a dynamic place and concerns about understaffing and work loads are nothing compared to the enormous upside opportunity that results from healthy business growth. This is far far better than having it easy in a stagnate business. The work is rewarding, benefits higher ed in America and is focused on outstanding client service. I am shocked by comments about the leadership team being stuffy or old Richmond - many on the leadership team are not from Richmond! and they offer progressive and traditional solutions to the culture and business needs. This place is full of great listeners and teammates. Management does a great job recognizing employees with quarterly awards, special events and a generous number of bonus days off. We see a lot of boomerangs at Royall - folks that leave thinking the grass is greener and wind up coming back with a much greater appreciation for the business

Cons

Integration from mergers has been challenging at times. Pace of growth sometimes leads to disorganized roll outs of new initiatives across departments.

Pros

They really care about their employees. They treat everyone with respect and act like everyone is family. Many activities to keep moral up and low turn over rating.

Cons

Heavy workloads but do-able.
