No two days at Royall are ever the same (in a good way)

Pros

No two days at Royall & Company are ever the same. You interact with people from different departments on a regular basis for everyday tasks, which I really enjoy. Most everyone is friendly and after conversations I've had with friends who work outside of Royall, the atmosphere here is more collaborative and engaging than most other offices. We have a good mix of employees recently out of college as well as tenured professionals. Our industry is unique and we have the flexibility to draw on a diverse range of backgrounds to round out our employees. There are many different opportunities for growth at Royall. You can be promoted within your own department or you can explore other departments if you’re interested in a different path and have the right skill set. With our growth and expansion, new roles are being created. Management will even create a new role, if the opportunity arises, just for the right person. I’ve seen it done. Royall is a client driven business and that is demanding. The client’s success is Royall’s success so no matter what department you work in, that is the priority. If you’re that type of person that’s engaging and interested in your work, like to have good friends at the office to work with and lean on for support, and are not afraid to work hard, this would be a great fit for you. "Boring” is not a word I would use to describe a single day I’ve spent here. For employees that have kids, managers are always flexible in terms of asking for support after-hours, etc. As a company, Royall is becoming more flexible every year to help address the reality of work/life demands. If you're looking for a dynamic, friendly, and hard-working place to call home, this is it. Plus… the office buildings have really cool funky art and a new cafe with food available for purchase in case you forget your lunch. There are employee events throughout the year and meals provided by departments or company-wide for planned late work nights or lunches or celebratory events. And every department and team seems to like to supply its “neighborhood” with snacks on a regular basis. (Can’t live without the snacks!)

Cons

Royall is growing. The aches and pains here are no different than what I've experienced at other companies of similar size. Actually Royall has weathered the change in ownership over the years WAY better than my previous employers...
