An interesting job. Traveling to different sites is my favorite part. During the summer you tend to get quite a bit of OT hrs and the work itself is very simple.

Cons

Sometimes those long days will kill you driving 2-3 hrs for a job site.

Learned a lot about the Geotechnical / CMT engineering industry from working here, the higher ups are great mentors. Helped make me a well-balanced engineer, a good mix of mainly office work with some lab/field work sprinkled in there as well. Pay was decent for an entry level position but was not amazing.

Cons

It seems like they were always so busy with so many projects coming in and not enough employees to cover them. The job can be high stress at times. pay was on the lower end but not horrible, promotions are very few and far between. Very little/no WFH option.
