Pros

* The company has a legitimate opportunity to deliver on something amazing * Incredible amount of top talent and industry leaders * Remote and Global culture are embedded into the core of the organization * Good investment into ERG and Diversity

Cons

* Benefits are slowly deteriorating/declining, not keeping up with the leading edge technology space we aspire to be in * Pay is not spectacular by industry standards * Some new leadership is a bit too aggressive, could risk eroding a really positive culture

Pros

* Great work-life balance: 24 PTO days, public holidays, and one free day per month (Wellness Friday) . * Remote-first company. EDB provides you with the tools and processes needed to be successful in a WFH environment. They provide you with a top-of-the market laptop and other appliances, all the secured-software you need to do your job, including many of the best AI-enhanced tools. * There are opportunities for in-person team meetings. * The globally-distributed team (about 40 countries around the world) makes team work an exciting experience. * Great company culture: people socialise, help each other, work cross-functionally. * There are Employee Resources Groups, a Bias-Free Committee, and other social groups with support from the company to build community and organize different kinds of events. * There are lots of Learning and Development initiative: from Technical trainings, to Learning apps, a Growth Mindset Program, and Mentorship Program, etc. * There are periodically company-wide and departmental All Hands Meetings where everyone gets to learn about news, progress, ask questions, etc. * For the Postgres Community: many of the main Postgres leaders are part of the company. There's a stronger support of the Postgres Project and the Postgres community. * There's a big investment in providing leading-edge services to the customer, which makes for great market growth opportunities. * Very competitive salary for the Spanish job market.

Cons

* Ths fast-changing nature of EDB's business calls for frequent reorganizing of teams' structures and processes. * Many of the main leadership roles are located in the US.
