      Stay away - No job security

      Pros

      One of the few top companies in the Postgres open source database market.

      Cons

      They fired many employees recently without any notice. No job security. They are losing the market against AWS / Azure Postgres database offerings. People from IBM are joining EDB and taking over almost every higher management positions, one might guess the intentions behind this. Work is repetitive. They will pay you penny if you are working from india, huge pay gap between US/Europe employee vs Indian employee.

      -relative to the market low goals -Supports a great free open source DB PostgreSQL which is rated 4th in DB Engine Rankings website -Great technical resources

      Cons

      -high turn over rate -mangment cares very little for there sales employees -comp plans change drastically year to year and has caps -PostreSQL is great but alot of EDB products which support PostgreSQL are becoming equivalent to the free community tookd

We have evolved our comp plans in an effort to be competitive, uncapped whenever possible and to include accelerators.
