Good for those coming right out of college, bad for everyone else

Pros

Good for young people, gives a lot of people with little to no experience a shot.

Cons

If you are coming up on 30 years old or older, don't waste your time with this company. The pay is nothing, and even management roles pay less than other companies. Also, the employee turnover rate is super, super high. I've only worked there for a year and my entire department is practically brand new.

Pros

Great opportunity for exposure to a diverse group of students with varying levels of English and from many different countries.

Cons

The administrative side of the school in San Diego is ridiculous and demoralizing. If you are OK with playing office politics with fake personalities and being micromanaged, then it's a good fit for you.

Pros

The students are highly motivated and you get a lot of leeway in terms of lesson planning and curricula design

Cons

The textbooks are horrendous, there are ipad lesson plans integrated into the curricula that are poorly designed, there's no coordination between the classes and exams and the students quickly figure out the exams don't matter that much and lose motivation. Also, the management is constantly piling on more and more responsibilities without paying for additional hours.
