Inability to find anything else is the only reason to accept job at EMSL Analytical, Inc. If you are seeking bad emotions you'll get them there.

Cons

Old equipment, unfriendly atmosphere, total control, bureaucracy, non compete agreement, no recognition for hard work, working process inefficeincy, constant pressure.

Pros

Good autonomy at letting the individual labs manage the high work load. Good work/life balance. Few knowledgeable middle managers that were in the same trench as the underlings. If you have a pulse you can get a job here.

Cons

Poor structure from a family of husband and wives of upper management. Managers can't manage. This company expects low level work to be done by the managers. Next to none in terms of support from family managers only interested in themselves. Poor professional development and job satisfaction. Dirty and hazardous work.
