Dysfunctional, leadership void

Pros

Life-work balance Mission of powering a sustainable energy future

Cons

Recent re-org without streamlining headcount has created enormous issues that clearly weren't thought through. Too many people leading parts of the organization without having expertise in their 'vertical'. Leadership is a revolving door of people coming from Europe to get their international experience and then head back to the mothership. The lack of leadership leaves many asking questions upward without answers.

Pros

The people that followed me to this place. I feel bad for bringing them in but they enjoy working for me.

Cons

The amount of Cons are too long to list. If you have morals, ethics, want to do the right thing for Clients and your employees, then don't work here because if you try, you are looked down upon. You have to become a follower in this bad culture or you're ignored.

Bad match for me

Pros

Benefits, employee perks, free coffee.

Cons

In Data Entry anyway, production was the number one priority. They did not care about quality, it was all about the numbers which was very stressful as the complexity of data entry varied from simple to extremely complex. Every time I got to the production quota, the criteria was changed. This type of management encouraged cherry picking and many people just out to get the quota any way they can. I have worked for 45 years and have never worked so hard with so little compensation in both salary and encouragement. In two years I never received a positive word from my team lead. It was very disheartening. If you like being under constant pressure, this job is for you. Otherwise, walk away quickly.
