Typical corporation with terrible HR

Pros

Good company to work for, if not a bit heavy on the repetitive trainings that are required (cybersecurity, diversity, harassment, ethics) but upper management comes across engaged. Pay is decent but bonus and incentive plans are not clear and often dismissed as “not part of your work group”.

Cons

Human Resources is an embarrassment. The Canada and US divisions don’t communicate and tend to blame issues on the other group. Emails go unanswered for weeks at a time. Onboarding was a joke 3 years ago. Maybe it’s changed since then; once can only hope.

Pros

The people can be fun.

Cons

System structure, organization of management, everything is a mess. Slow and outdated software. Workload is way too much for the pay.
