Pros

Office location within city limits.

Cons

Disjointed efforts at hiring and personnel management, retention. Frequent shifts in assigned tasks, after a cross-country move to accept job doing one thing, tried to make me do another job, then still another (neither of which I was qualified to do). This led to my departure. Work for higher-echelon employees approaches 80 hours a week. Lack of leadership at corporate level marked by frequent changes to executive ranks. I would not advise working here.

Pros

There are many different types of projects to work on, so you can find something suited to your talents. Everyone is friendly and willing to answer questions that you have if you get stuck, which helps move things along faster.

Cons

The benefits are good, but can be costly depending on if you're single or have a family. There's not much communication between you and your manager unless you're both working on the same project. Salary does not match other contractors in the area.

Pros

Friendly, casual workplace with good company culture fueled by great employees. National Security Solutions (NSS) division works on important, challenging, and interesting solutions for its customers. Motivated employees can rapidly grow into project leadership to creatively contribute to/steer program development.

Cons

Lack of technical mentorship; specialized work teams do not facilitate apprenticeship and skill development. Corporate leadership transitions and instability over past 24 months have not clarified company's future direction. Minimal investment in Internal Research & Development challenges new business growth and competitiveness; new ideas need immediate customer.
