Pros

Stability, it is hard to get fired. They helped a lot when some bad disasters happened, and they not only helped the employees but the whole family. Good medical care and different perks at the company. A lot of offices worldwide. Also, they helped with relocation. Interesting training, and workshops. A lot of things for additional activity.

Cons

They don't provide competitive salaries, so they always lose good employees. And even if you were loyal to them for many years, your salary will be lower than that of some new random guy who just joined the company in the same position, who clearly knows the field worse than you. It was possible to get a compatible salary only if you came with an offer from another company. And if you're really valuable then maybe they could raise your salary, if it is not so high. E.g. I had an offer that was 55% higher than my salary, and they only could offer me a raise of 30% (which consisted of salary + bonus). But when the crisis came, they just stopped paying me that bonus, and I worked with a lower salary and ate their promises. So I'd say they don't pay as promised, and there's no guarantee when they promise something.

Pros

For last 2 years - ONLY learning system. That's all.

Cons

I would advise against considering EPAM if you highly value self-respect. Moreover, it appears that there are challenges related to political differences, particularly if you are not from their home country or express independent opinions. The company has reportedly faced limitations in terms of opportunities and acquiring new clients over the past year. There have also been a significant number of layoffs, seemingly based on location rather than individual circumstances, with no apparent willingness to support individuals seeking to relocate. Furthermore, the compensation at EPAM is said to be below the average market standard. It's noteworthy that a substantial percentage of recent hires are from India and Colombia, potentially raising concerns about the emphasis on quantity over quality in recruitment practices. Allegedly, the company frequently cites budget constraints as a reason for not offering competitive salaries or benefits. Additionally, the absence of a bench and the advice not to fully trust HR processes, given the reported immediate removal of individuals, may be aspects to consider when evaluating EPAM as a potential employer.
