Pros

Unlimited remote work, possibility to work from other locations up to 60 days, great learning opportunities, and the majority of the colleagues in Hungary are nice. If AI is your thing and/or you are early-medior and/or looking for an alibi job, get hired.

Cons

Nepotism, favoritism, low salary, project-lotto (can get great project, but the majority are waste), close to 0 company event, empty offices and losey promises from the management.

EPAM has a very strong engineering-driven culture with high technical standards and best practices. Great opportunities to work on complex, real-world projects for well-known international clients. Continuous learning is encouraged: access to internal courses, certifications, knowledge sharing, and mentorship programs. Professional and supportive colleagues; teamwork and knowledge exchange are highly valued. Flexible work arrangements and good work-life balance compared to many consulting companies. Transparent performance reviews and clear career progression paths. Exposure to modern technologies, cloud platforms, and scalable architectures.

Cons

Project quality and workload can vary depending on the client and engagement. As a senior engineer, expectations are high, and you need to be proactive and self-driven. In large projects, processes and approvals can sometimes slow things down. Compensation growth may depend heavily on performance reviews and project availability.
