Work Life Balance

Pros

- Mostly work from home with some field time - Competitive pay and generous time compensation - Plenty of growth opportunities - Flexibility for appointments - as long as work is getting done, it's ok to have a doctor's appointment - Upper management listens and cares - Company invests in Culture Boosters / team events - Huge investment in volunteer and community outreach

Cons

- Can't confirm as I haven't experienced it yet: could be some lean years for additional financial compensation, but there are also fat years - Tend to run a little lean on workforce, but it has been getting better. This also just feels normal in industry to run lean

Pros

9/80 schedule Work from home Trust from team and immediate managers that you know how to do your job correctly

Cons

Micromanaging upper management. Being punished to come back to office despite breaking productivity records year after year. Constantly being asked to do more without effective support from upper management or enough manpower

Thank you for sharing this feedback and for your long tenure with the company. We recognize the frustration that can come from changes to work expectations, particularly for teams that have consistently delivered strong results in a flexible environment. The intent of recent adjustments was to support connection and collaboration, not to diminish trust or overlook performance. We acknowledge the concerns raised around workload, support, and how success is measured, and we understand the importance of balancing business goals with the realities of day-to-day work. Employee feedback remains a critical input as we continue to evaluate our approach and identify opportunities to improve.

Pros

9/80 schedule Generous PTO & holidays flexible start / end times to your day Primarily remote work with ability to work in office when needed / wanted

Cons

Effective January 2026, leadership in the Land department decided to make employees return to office every other week, at a company that prides itself on efficiency, flexibility, and remote work, and that’s everybody “within 2 hours of the office.” No hotels or anything if you’re in that window, so now employees have up to 13 hour days with commutes and can’t even bill mileage?? Productivity was at a record high for remote teams prior to decision. It is a bad decision that will cause employees who put up with long hours to look elsewhere and exit swiftly after bonus season

We appreciate this perspective and understand that the updated in-office cadence has raised concerns, particularly for employees with longer commutes or who have thrived in a primarily remote environment. The decision was made with the goal of strengthening collaboration while maintaining flexibility, but we recognize that the impact can differ by role and location. Leadership continues to review productivity, engagement, and employee feedback as we assess how this approach is working in practice. We encourage ongoing dialogue and constructive input as we move forward.
