The Favoritism is Rough

Pros

Culture is great, however, it's easy to spot the teams that don't have the "legacy" employees. Some in management are very unorganized. New office coming soon - that's exciting. Mission-driven, CEO seems to authentically care about the company and its well being.

Cons

Why oh why did they change the snacks? It's making everyone upset and they aren't doing anything about it. But more importantly, I'll echo the favoritism. Only a select few get noticed and have the ability to advance. The schools team has no upward mobility and basically get paid poverty wages - not enough to afford the city where the office is located.

Pros

You can work from home.

Cons

Poor work life balance, poor management. Empty promises, especially with payouts. When you work from home, you are always working.

Pros

- Everyone is incredibly smart, great teams to be a part of - Mission-driven - Supported employees with mental health days throughout the pandemic (and did so after feedback, so able to listen to feedback and adjust accordingly)

Cons

- Lots of bugs with the product and delays with releases (will give credit to leadership that this seems to be getting better, but confidence is not there with customers after so many issues) - Diverse representation could be so much better (it's more than just talking about it, need to be it) - Lots of turnover
