      Colleagues are great, for the most part. Everyone is willing to help each other out.

      Cons

      -Due to mass layoffs, everyone has taken on a lot of extra responsibilities. We're now doing the work of multiple people, so many employees are feeling burnt out. On top of this, there's been more micromanaging/oversight/accountability/busy work and less trust. It feels like being on a sinking ship. -The benefits are worse since getting acquired by a private equity firm. We don't get paid out for unused PTO now if we leave, which feels very intentional, as they knew people would leave.

      *CEO is both incompetent and highly-emotional *Exploiting public schools as a for-profit organization is a disingenuous business model that only serves the investment firm who recently bought it.
