      Pros

      Boutique strategy-focused consulting firm that promotes transparency in management and a healthy work-life balance. Projects are diverse and work environment is dynamic and collaborative. Firm is growing rapidly, adding on team members at all levels, and increasing client/project diversity.

      Cons

      Young firm that does not have the name recognition with some large biopharma clients. Given its tenure, the firm may not have a complete suite of internal processes and programs in place but all this is changing.

      Pros

      The boutique nature of the firm, collegial work culture, and breadth of projects create an ideal environment to gain experience in a variety of biotech/pharma work (commercial, lifecycle, med affairs, etc.). The work environment is highly collaborative and benefits from a concentration of consultants with industry experience and/or advanced degrees.

      Cons

      The firm is relatively younger and smaller than other consulting firms, sometimes translating to less immediate name recognition. Though, this is improving with more time on the market and company growth.

      Pros

      Having been with Promidian for over 2 years now, I can attest that the experience lives up to everything promised in the initial employment pitch. The firm has a very flat structure in that you have access to everyone up to the VPs and Partners during case work. Hard work and motivated learning are rewarded through fast promotions, strong bonuses, and annual raises. The culture here is very hardworking without being overly serious. An easy-going can-do attitude is what you will find in most employees. Junior members have many opportunities afforded to them, including options to quickly take on additional project (and internal operational) responsibilities as they prove themselves. If you are looking for a firm that you cultivate your skills and reward your hard work, check out Promidian.

      Cons

      With any smaller company, there will be growing pains. It can be difficult to secure talent in some positions but this in no way impedes the success of the firm and the individual success of the employees. There are stellar people to work with here and there have been some less-than-stellar folks, although they usually find their way out the door eventually. Areas for improvement allow junior members to take on a more involved roll in building and shaping the firm's growth.
