      Used to have a good work environment as well as management. Used to employee centric company.

      Cons

      Pathetic salary structure. Appraisal not good. Management spends more time on R & D on how to save cost to the company at employees expense.

      Pros

      Joining promises are top class. I joined this company 2 times. First time for three years as an Associate, done so much hard work, get lots of appreciations, but no promotions. I left this company and joined Moody's for next two years. In two years I took two promotions. Then I joined EXL again as Manager, and five years down the line still manager, no growth at all.

      Cons

      Growth and promotions processes are not transparent. I have seen a person who joined with me at same designation is now senior manager. And the reason is that he has left job for other company for 1 year and rehired as a Senior Manager :). So if you need a promotion in this company, leave this company for around a year or two and then join back to seniors positions.
