Pros
- Location: The main building in Kirchberg is easy to get to. Trams, buses, bicycle stations, restaurants, stores, gym, so the surrounding area is also great. - Learning opportunities: Opportunity to learn on the job both hard and soft skills, through courses provided, and trainings organized.
Cons
The list of cons is probably higher than the turnover (which has increased over the years). - Compensation: The salary is low for the amount of actual hours worked. Overtime might as well be a requirement and is not treated as an occasional necessity. The benefits have been reduced, from the removal of the 13th salary, ineligibility to receive overtime payment, and lack of bonuses. - Poor planning/overtime: Budget limitations discourage employees from accurately reporting their hours, especially when billable targets cannot be met due to the pressure to continually undercharge billable hours. Concerns raised with management regarding project timelines and resources are dismissed, leaving projects understaffed. - Toxic environment: It is common to find other employees crying in the bathroom or the stairwell. Employees showing visible signs of burnout are not met with support but instead are berated and told they cannot handle pressure. There are cases of employees speaking out regarding conditions but are met with ostracization or are retaliated against. Despite the heavy workload, there is an excessive amount of gossip prevalent.
