Pros

Big global well established strong and stable company.

Cons

Promotional opportunities are minimal. That too through Nepotism. Partial in growth opportunities. Lot of long working hours even through holidays, week ends and in the night. Salaries are paid to the employees friendly with the bosses.

Pros

Flexible work schedules e.g. no one bats an eye if you have to come in late or work from home on any given day. Great coworkers with whom real friendships can be formed. Great experience for future jobs and good resume building opportunities

Cons

Long hours with very little let-up in the summer (when you most would like to be outside in Portland). Bureaucracy and levels of management can sometimes mean that you feel powerless to improve your work environment. Employee technology lags e.g. old computers, tiny monitors, slow programs, old operating systems, etc.
