Pros

Pretty good pay and nice people to work with.

Cons

EY is a company that exploits cheap offshore labor for their administrative and tech support positions. In July of 2025, 500 people (including me), mostly existing executive assistants, were laid off and replaced with people in Jamaica, Port of Spain, and other cheap offshore labor locations. The worst part is that the morning after the layoff, the EAs were copied on emails with the subject line, "Meet your new executive assistant," which went out to the executives we supported, and the new offshore workers that were chosen to support them. Can you believe that? What a slap in the face!! I know executive assistants at EY that were laid off after giving 20-40 YEARS to the firm, and without warning, they were tossed out like TRASH. One girl was getting treated for cancer and was to lose her health coverage one month after the layoff. EY handled the layoffs in the worst possible way, destroying lives in the process. They are making billions and selfishly laid these people off so they could keep even more money. Look to a reputable company to work at. This one is unpredictable, and you won't see the chopping block coming until you're on it.
