Pros

Great opportunity to meet a lot of people Lots of happy hours and food Coworkers are cool since they're close to your age. Since everyone knows the struggle, it's easier to connect If you're put on a great team, it's easy to succeed

Cons

Highly dependent on what type of senior or manager you get EY is all about learning from others. The trainings they make you do can only help so much. It's important to be on a team where people can take the time to teach you, or you have people that can help you Long hours, very stressful honestly you can have a great career without having to be in public accounting. i feel like this PA system is becoming outdated over time. also this place is white asf. if you're a poc, be the whitest version that you can be to fit in with this company.

Pros

Challenging environment with wide ranges of experiences you can pursue, and the pay is steadily becoming more competitive. The benefits are good, and they seem to be putting more of an emphasis on keeping people lately.

Cons

You are going to work, a lot. Depending on type of clients you could be putting in 60+ a week regularly during busy season, if not more. Off season you stick to 40-50, but with trainings and other non-chargeable items you still will be putting in more than a normal 40 hour work week.
