Pros

salary, benefits, severance package, retirement vesting

Cons

Ridiculous policies and procedures founded in nothing but control; impossible to locate an intelligent human being when attempting to resolve intra-company issues (W4, independence, unemployment); constantly conflicting mandates (only bill 40 hours; where is that 75 hours’ worth of work); outstanding review with huge raise, followed almost immediately by assessment of “does not meet expectations;” absolutely could not care less about the employee as an individual; impossible to determine chain of command when issues needed to be escalated.

Pros

- Strong client base - Hard-working teams - Inclusive culture

Cons

- Poor global strategy - Over-reliance on assurance practice with a lack of investment into future revenue streams - Inability to break long-term assurance contracts that have inhibited growth in alliances, advisory or growth segments - Poor incentive structures to promote highest performing individuals - Talent pool squeezes the top percentages to pull up the bottom, resulting in a below-average employee base - Reliant on compliance and risk work in the financial services, of which, are draining revenue pools and not conducive to retaining talent
