Pros

The people that you work with will have your back and will work with you on your problems. If you vocalize that you are having problems on a project, management will take the time to go through your responsibilities with you and work to create a plan that will enable you to accomplish your goals and the requirements of the job. The company provides a plethora of benefits and will compensate you well for the work you put in; however, you have to actively pursue these benefits outside of your paycheck.

Cons

The work can get stressful and heavy quickly, especially coming out of college. If you do not speak up and keep open and honest communications with management, you will be left behind and feel like you do not matter to the company, which is not true. You will work long nights and weekends, and the workload will seem like it is unending until you figure out how to manage your life and work. Working at EY requires that you not only manage yourself but also manage your managers because everyone is putting in 50+ hours a week.

Pros

EY has a culture that is truly in a class of its own. My colleagues and I never dread coming to work, always leave work optimistic and proud that we are a part of this company. Although not perfect, EY is striving as a company to reach balanced diversity from the top down. The work life balance is great, our full time employees are exceptional for the most part, and the rewards are some of the best in the industry. I’m thrilled to be a part of EY two and a half years later.

Cons

IT practices are immature. EY still hasn’t figured out product development, although the company is investing heavily and is making great progress in this area. IT still leans heavily on contracted resources which often aren’t vetted and end up being lackluster resources. Lots of red tape to wade through, as with any large company.

Pros

High involvement by internal groups and supportive management EY Assist Diverse Workforce Great work environment Fun people and interesting projects Free coffee, snacks, and some meals After hour activities High Tech workforce with awesome technology

Cons

Some cons are always present, but I've had almost all of them resolved by working with the groups within EY so they may be immediate but they are not long term issues.
