Pros

Learn audit faster than in a regional firm

Cons

Coaching sucks... no one remembers what it was like to know nothing Unless you want to do audit the rest of your life, it's pretty pointless to keep working here over a year

Pros

All the partners I've worked with on deals have been very approachable and willing to teach you. Teams in TAS will generally try and work around vacation schedules in accommodate your needs. Deals are fast paced but you learn a lot and feel accomplished once the deal is complete.

Cons

extremely unpredictable schedule. Once a deal goes through, it's full throttle and there are times when you need to travel immediately and change your personal plans. It's just part of the job.

Pros

Many resources, as expected of large organizations, good people culture, reasonable hours and work/life balance

Cons

Very hierarchical, politics can play a huge part in reviews and promotions, lack of transparency within advisory due to fragmented communication (traveling resources), low pay, varies depending on the team- not the brightest crowd
