after a year they seem to have their act together and know where they want to take it
Pros
So far, they seem to be the most supportive firm I've worked for in the consulting space. Perhaps its the 'partnership' vs 'publicly traded' aspect, but what they decided to do, they actually support/payfor/plan/execute vs SAY they have a direction and then short change and under invest it to death. I've been associated w three projects, very successful, ok, and a mess. For the mess project, I have had very strong support from the partners on the choices I made that did not come to a great end. They were informed and helped make the choices. And now they are personally taking the heat from the client and not 'passing it down' WOW. that's a first in a career.
Cons
Organization is growing very fast is some areas, so there is a great deal of 'are you my moma' confusion. Like most accounting related firms, they don't really do 'national practice' as well as they do 'local practice'. Some of the practical 'how do you relate to your office and vice versa' stuff is still a muddle.
