Pros

Strong company culture. Work is much more enjoyable when the people you're working with are pleasant to be around. I've never had an engagement team that I didn't enjoy.

Cons

Employees who happen to have a client whose year-end isn't Dec 31 work 55+ hours during times of the year when peers are working 40 hour weeks. Then, when busy season comes around, those employees who have already put in several 55 hour weeks are still expected to work 55 hours during busy season. This can really start to wear on some employees, prompting them to leave the company sooner than they otherwise would. This "con" is true of all the Big 4 firms.

Pros

flexibility and good opportunity for growth.

Cons

fairness amongst staff - favoritism. Could be strong performer but not given the right amount of credibility other depts are too loose, unstructured. knowledge leaves when the person leaves.
