Pros

1. Career springboard 2. Variety of clients 3. Challenging work

Cons

1. Culture has significantly deteriorated. IBM and PWC leadership has mostly taken over and killed our culture over the years. 2. Benefits are slowing eroding. Health insurance is through the roof unlike previous years. 3. Major cost cutting initiatives that sometimes make no sense. For example- traveling consultants cannot purchase breakfast in their home city even if it’s a super early flight. 4. Partners are selling work to meet revenue goals but the work is close to impossible to execute. 6 weeks worth of work being sold as 3 weeks. Morality takes a hit and people eat hours just to meet impossible goals.

Pros

-My commute -Leaving (Reach out to employees on LinkedIn in this role to get an honest opinion. Hopefully you will get one. I did this and received raving reviews only to find out that girl left and was hiring me as her replacement)

Cons

Coming from a client serving and financial services background I was excited to switch career paths and try something different. This may feel like it during the interviews where the Hoboken and Charlotte teams try sell it to you but please beware! A few months into the role you will realize this role is a joke. -Undervalue you as an employee -Made to feel incompetent -No actual training -High stress for no reason except management making the job seem way more important than it is -No career progression(You will be gold differently in an interview) -Getting belittled by Client serving professionals for not giving them the person they wanted -EXTREMELY high turnover -Understaffed and underpaid (Will low ball you on pay) -Everything is an urgent situation -Management is awful- you need to be liked in order to progress even if you have no real skills
