Pros
I have worked at EZ local for four years now as an account manager and have bought a house, a new car and taken two trips to Europe in that time. The president of the company is probably the best part of the job for me. It is more like being part of a family than it is a high-pressure work environment. I truly feel valued and appreciated for the time I have spent at the company and for the hard work that I put in. As long as you do your work efficiently and honestly and treat the clients with dignity and respect you are well rewarded for it. I have gotten consistent raises that I am very happy with and bonuses based on performance. There is a very steady work life balance, and for that among other reasons, I am very grateful for this job. The president of the company is very committed to enhancing our emotional experience at work and uses work time (not family time) to celebrate us. The events we regularly partake in are so much fun, well organized and perfectly executed that my friends outside of work can’t wait to hear about them and are all dying for an invite one day. These include very elaborate Christmas parties, office picnics, sushi days, taco days, ice cream trucks, hotdog trucks, scavenger hunts, trivia, and other cute things that drastically elevate the work experience. The office manager is a very bright, uplifting and gregarious presence. She executes all of the elaborate themes of celebration, is easy to talk to and has a special connection with everyone. If you are considering this job and get hired you’re in for a real treat.
Cons
None really, if you do have any issues, everyone in management is very easy to talk to.
Jim really listens to his employees and does everything he can to make them feel appreciated and heard.
