      EBALDC is collaborative organization. It supports community partners, its residents, and coworkers support each other. The organization is committed to Oakland and communities of color.

      Cons

      The level of commitment and partnership means that employees are overstretched. They are also underpaid. Many employees stay with the organization because of their passion and the organizations supportive environment but they deserve a higher salary and more training.
