Pros
Once you get to know them, the residents are both lovely and lively people. The hours are pretty flexible- you can enjoy weekends, and can usually be done around 8. Usually you got to enjoy food with the job too. The cook staff and people who had been there a while are pretty cool. You get access to the pool and gym, but I never had time to take advantage of it.
Cons
Previous management was against us eating at the job, which can be difficult when it's been a while without eating. There were moments when it felt like we were being treated like children- there are very large age gaps between the employees. Some servers have been in the field for a while, for others it was their first job. We used to get out early if everyone finished their side work, but when I left a lot of staff members would sit on their phones and do nothing, or hide. We could leave when everyone's work was finished, so some of us would have to pick up the slack when others were incompetent. This resulted in us getting out of work late a lot.
