Salaries are insultingly low. Turnover among junior employees is extremely high because salaries are (way) below market average. You get "raises" annually that they say are based on inflation levels; however, they in no way, shape, or form match the rising costs of living. You would think that with offices located in major metropolitan areas like Washington D.C. and Boston, ERG would pay people enough to live in those areas. It's actually laughable how false that is. So many of these reviews have referenced low salaries and yet ERG has done nothing to remedy the issue. Manager tells employees that taking on more responsibility and work could result in a higher raise for the next year. But wouldn't you want to encourage employees to work harder by rewarding them for all the work they have already been doing? We're not going to do more work for the same (already low) pay. And to top it off, benefits are nothing special.
ERG also expects an almost 100% utilization rate, meaning you are supposed to bill all of your time to clients. This means you're often working way more than 40 hours a week to account for the non-client work you do--and you don't get paid for it.
Don't waste your time if you're considering working at ERG. Go somewhere that will value your time and pay you your worth.
