The chemistries that Eastman works with have the ability to significantly reduce the amount of plastics going into landfills.

Cons

Within the first year and a half of working at Eastman, there were major layoffs, multiple site-wide power outages, mandatory work on many federal holidays (as a salaried employee there was no compensation for this time), and a sub-par bonus and cost of living adjustment. This was all done while praising the results of our group.
