We just got bought out by Eastman! We had great insurance and 401k match with Tamico. Did I mention HAD! We know have major medical!!! I call 6k deductible major medical!!! They also cut our 401k match in half!!! We are being forced to change our shift schedule basically because the payroll department in Tenn is lazy!! Also took 2 vacation days away!! If you do not live in the mangers home town you will not get promoted!!!!!! Here at are plant we don't have a real HR person!! I have only saw someone in HR 3 times in 5 years!!

Job security, decent wages, good plant security, good amount of time off, company ethics are such that you can proudly be a team member.

Cons

Shift work, no promotional opportunity or career ladder to climb, no performance-based raises beyond reaching "top pay," bonuses have been drastically reduced in recent years, benefits have been reduced/degraded in recent years, no pension, pay could be better. Often times we are told the company didn't do well enough for a raise or bonus, while the company outwardly boasts record profits.
