Pros

Schedule flexibility. Decent pay for the area (but not competitive in the industry). 401K. Looks good on a resume.

Cons

Management plays in politics. Hard work isn't recognized or rewarded. Always working in fear of being reprimanded for saying the wrong thing or not doing something right. High deductible insurance plans are terrible. Pay isn't competitive for the industry and isn't based on merit.

Pros

Fantastic co-workers, great schedule

Cons

•Pay is below average for the work •Benefits are dwindling down to nothing •Morale is at all-time low •Diversity is feared by operations personnel because it increases the likelihood of HR issues. Investigations are frequent and a show of force by the legal team, which contributes to a collective disdain for diversity on shift; it's considered too much of a headache.

Pros

-Good work/life balance -Intersting project work

Cons

-There is still very much a "good ol' boys club' culture. Advancement opportunities are given to employees who attend the right churches. Strong resistance to diversity and inclusion efforts throughout various levels in the organization. - Experience outside of the company is not valued, it is seen by many as a negative -Benefits, specifically health insurance, is very poor. Compensation is okay for the area, but raises are small (2% on average) and promotions happen about every 5-7 years.
