Pros

Great work life balance Lot for a fresher to learn if one wants to since mostly you will be an individual contributor where you will need to handle things on your own. Met some really good people

Cons

Found that advancing in my role required constant struggle with little support for meaningful growth. The promotion process lacked transparency and led to minimal salary hikes while the expectation to perform groundbreaking R&D was unrealistic given the limited resources and outdated technology initiatives. There was also an increase in micromanagement and often individuals with inadequate technical skills were promoted to tech lead/architect positions. This created a poor mentorship environment for junior developers who need strong guidance to thrive.
