Pros

co-workers and supervisors care about your feedback, they give back to the community, they have health incentives example: they reimburst a qualifying gym cost, they're big on having a safe work environment, "they want you to leave work the same as you came in".

Cons

lot of mandatory overtime, slim chance of changing departments(job) they only give two chances per year, 12 hour swingshift (get every other weekend off),

Pros

I think Management has done a god job positioning the company so that it can prosper and provide stable employment for the forseeable future. The company is full of people that want to work and do a good job and the teamwork you see is excellent. The compensation, both monetary and benefits, combined wih the low cost of living at the Headquarters site provides a vey comfortable life. The company takes Safety seriously.

Cons

The company places a lot of credence in getting input on decisions and courses of action. While that can lead to better decisions, it can get frustrating waiting for and getting the input.

Pros

Eastman provides many tools to help you succeed including multiple training courses and opportuniites to suggest new courses where needed. The experience of the technical staff at Eastman is vast and will help drive success for future product development. Flexible schedules are common with the expectation you will get the job done. I can't say enough about the willingness of people to help you succeed. It really is a team effort where projects are involved. Everyone works together to make new ideas and projects be successful.

Cons

Starting in 2015, everyone will change to high-deductible healthcare plans. The high-deductible plans, although a normal part of benefits for most companies now, are often more costly with less patient benefits.
