      Pros

      Eastman Chemical is an ethical, environmentally responsible chemical company. The employees are talented and driven to succeed. The atmosphere is friendly. There are a variety of interesting projects and substantial company growth has yielded excellent opportunties for promotion.

      Cons

      One of the major challenges has been the difficulty in hiring/retaining employees in relatively small cities.

      Pros

      I've worked in many industries and in many different roles and Eastman stands out as providing a truly caring environment. There is a strong sense of work-life balance along with management committment to providing a safe and enjoyable working environment. Time is spent on employee development and investing in continuing education.

      Cons

      Implementation of change is sometimes slow, however I believe that goals are aligned throughout the organization and this enhances the environment of continuous improvement.
